What are Roving Security Patrols?
Roving Security Patrols are one of the many services TriCorps offers. TriCorps’ Roving Security Patrol program provides a visible security presence that has effectively demonstrated the ability to reduce theft, vandalism, and other related incidents. It provides high visibility and coverage over large areas, which translates to lower costs to our clients.
Why are Roving Security Patrols important?
This service consists of one or more vehicles being assigned to a specific area or even multiple locations geographically separated. TriCorps rovers are manned by one or more unarmed or armed officers. The rover makes patrols and checks based on the specific needs of the client. Officers driving vehicles perform area patrols, conduct safety checks, establish speed checkpoints with radar enforcement, assist with periodic traffic control, and respond to critical needs as they occur.
For example, the rover can patrol their assigned area(s) every 60 minutes and, in conjunction, check on door and gate locks, speak to on-site employees, report damage to fence lines and equipment/buildings. We offer an option for a marked car with a rooftop light bar giving the vehicle maximum visibility and increasing the deterrence factor to lower the possibility of an incident even occurring.
What We Provide:
TriCorps can tailor this service to any client’s specific needs. One way we can do this is by integrating this service with our electronic security program. We can install cameras and alarm systems to detect threats utilizing motion detection, light differential algorithms, and facial recognition, to name a few. These are all monitored 24/7/356 by TriCorps’ Operators in our Global Security Operations Center. Pairing electronic security solutions with our roving patrols increase the security of our clients significantly. This pairing would prevent the potential issue from going unnoticed in between patrols and could mean the difference between preventing loss/damage to property and simply reporting it after the fact.
